Southport Legends

Hi my name is Marc, I am from and are currently living in Southport.

Southport, like Liverpool has a good few local legends and I will be happy to tell you about them.

First of all is the legendary anti-smoking man. Known to Scousers alike and even some people of Chester he is known for having a bike which he often pushes along with a bin bag full of cushions and shite. His main HotSpots are Lord Street in Southport and Heritige Market in Liverpool, which I have seen him there with a load of empty green glass bottles. He has also been seen in Formby.

His storyline is something like he used to live in a house and smoke, due to smoking his house set on fire burning his family.

He also apparently hates the tunnel and that because of people going and picking up cheap ciggies abroad.

He apparently does smoke and has been known trying to pull peoples ciggies out of their mouths.

He was previously reported missing

His real name is Umberto Mariani. He lives in Wellesley Road, L8.

The Southport Tranny - As he is known as is a man with a perminant sad mong type face often seen with loads of shopping bags around Asda. Its a very frightening sight.

Darren - Darren is a strange twisted but over freindly man often seen at Southport FC matches about 2 years ago.

He is a small man in his mid 40's with glasses. He is often seen stood infront of the Southport FC Terraces going crazy with Southport chants or at the Opposition goalkeeper.

People would often tell him to should shite at the keeper and everyone would PMSL at him.

He often has strange stories to tell. Like about his watch he has had since he was 12, his Reebok Trabs from Kwick Save (he used to wear World of Troop ones), the many times he has had sex in the shower with his wife, the collection of Everton and Liverpool shirts he has, the fact he has never washed his f**king clothes the smelly f**king troll.

He would often come up to people at Random and tell people his random stories.

Last reported, he said he was moving to cornwall.

He is a very strange man, he thought he had muscles and he would waft his fart around.

The 2 Tramps - They are quite new to Southport. One is Scottish with a Beard and one is Scouse.

The one with the beared can be seen near Arcade Sports with his guitar and then he meets up with his Scouse homie at the Southport train Station.

I gave one of them 10p the Scottish one from my finding supports Celtic and the Scouse one supports Everton.

His exact words were "Ahh what do we have here a Toffeenose? Celtic! Celtic!" - Scottish

The Smartly dressed tramp - Is often seen near the smackhead bridge that goes from the train station to Lidl or near Rawcliffes.

He wears a suit with a duffel coat over it and often has a bottle of Lambrini or cans of White Lightening with him.

A man, not got a official name but has been seen outside the Vauxhall Garage and everytime he takes a toke of his ciggie he combs his hair with his hands, a very odd thing to watch.
